Educational Needs

PACES is proud to offer a one-day-a-week classical education program called PAideia Classical Education. The word paideia (pie-day-uh) is drawn from the Greek word paidos, which means "educating the whole". The goal of PAideia is to provide a rigorous, liberal arts education in which students will develop a love of learning, critical thinking skills and the ability to continue educating themselves as life-long learners. Testing Services

PACES provides a complete testing service for your home schooled student. Each spring the Stanford Achievement Test is given to those home educated students who would like to take the test in a group setting. The reasonable cost for this service includes a review of scores and subsets with suggestions for curriculum for the next year, if the parent so chooses.

For parents interested in individual testing, sessions are scheduled at the home office at the convenience of the parents and students. Testing is available for academic achievement, reading challenges and attention disorders. Call 936-890-9108 for individual prices and times.
