Under PAideia, the Registration menu
link contains all the forms to help determine the exact cost for
this year. We do offer several discounts, as well as stipends for
those who want to work on campus. These positions are made available
only after enrollment is completed. Positions are filled quickly
and approval comes through the director or headmaster only.

Preparing a year's curriculum is
a very extensive and time consuming endeavor. Our goal is to facilitate
home education for your family by doing the curriculum research,
preparing lesson plans, teaching, grading and offering elective
classes for the well-rounded educated student. This gives you time
to be a mom again and your child accountability to others as well
as you. PAideia is the perfect balance between home schooling alone
and a private school.

Facilitate means "to make easier:
help bring about" and that is exactly what we strive to do. We help
YOU educate your child without removing you as the primary director
of education for your children. Besides giving me more time, how
else do you help me? Our goal is not just to help educate your child
but to have communion with you and your family. Jesus taught that
coming together is necessary for believers (and home educators).
In doing this we give strength and encouragement to each other.
Many moms have said that they felt "completely alone" and/or "without
direction" before joining PAideia, but now they are apart of a group
that encourages and moves them forward towards their educational
goals for their children.

This is the best part of the PACES
PAideia program -- every class level is studying the same thing
at the same time. You will not have one child reading about Egypt
and another studying Mexico. This style of education is more commonly
referred to as "Unit Study" but we still are different. PAideia
utilizes timeline research and a Christian Worldview method, plus
a unit study style of teaching. Your child will grasp History, Art,
and Literature like never before because they will understand what
was happening in the world during the time period they are studying.
Also, the younger students can be helped by older students because
everyone is studying and talking about the same time period in their
classes, whether it is elementary, middle school or high school,
just at age appropriate levels.

Yes. We believe that students
that come dressed to learn will be ready to learn. Our uniform
needs are handled by Academic Outfitters and are reasonably
priced. Please visit our uniform page for more details.

A proficient student usually takes
4 hours per day to complete the assignments. The first 3 weeks,
students will need to spend time learning how to complete assignments
and this will take a few additional hours per day.

No, PAideia is a full program. Since
the program is already structured and easily followed, many of our
students find that they have more time to pursue their outside interests
such as music, sports, equine activities, etc.

PACES PAideia is associated with
and a member in good standing with the American Classical
League, the Association of Classical Christian Schools and the Society
for Classical Learning. They are not seeking accreditation by the government, just as
a private home does not seek governmental entity status. A Texas
Education Agency accredited school means that the school has and will
continue to seek the counsel of, and submit to, the mandates of
the government on how to educate children. PACES PAideia does
not see this as a wise decision on the part of any educator.

All campuses have a snack bar that
offers a hot lunch, snacks, and drinks. The Food Director will determine
the meal options.
