Now, I finished King's Shadow. It was a good book and I enjoyed reading it. I think using the perspective of Evyn made the book more believable. It was smart to place him on the loosing side of the english. I think if he had been on the winning side his name would have been recorded somewhere. I always like the books that PACES has us read. My mom asked me the other day which one I liked the most and I could not pick. Not sure if this answers the journal assignment but we only had three journals to chose from this week and all in King's Shadow.

I disagree. Even spent together, an eternity for those two would eventually become unbearable. Though they have their love for each other to sustain them for a little while, perhaps a lifetime or two, it would easily fade, just as every other human emotion does. During the time in which said emotion would still be present they'd be striving to find fulfillment either in each other, or in something Elysium has to offer. I find it highly unlikely that any form of lasting fulfillment would be found without God, thus making immortality in this situation a terrible curse.

Cool! Your family probably still has more kids then most families in NH. That's one of the reasons we moved down here. What kinds of things do you like to do to pictures and videos? There should be a video of something that I made in the media gallery if you want to see it.

Talk to you tomorrow,
Matt

As long as your not denying Jesus, I can't think of anything right now that would be better to die for than lie about.

How could Ovid believe in an idea of true, perfect and lasting goodness when the Romans had no morale standard to follow--their gods were only amplified humanity.
