Number the Stars

This guide assists young readers as they read about two young girls facing the realities of German occupation in WWII’s Denmark in the Newbery Medal winner, Number the Stars. Instructions will guide readers in writing their own narrative story while studying literary terms. This four week study guide includes vocabulary words to learn, reading assignments, journal suggestions, a character chart, a story map, and questions for discussion with parents, and questions that could guide a classroom discussion.
